Dr. Gwen Williams is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Special Education at Florida A&M University. Her professional areas of interest include: community transitions, family, school and community partnerships, mental retardation, multiple impairments, behavior management, and assistive technology. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Dr. Williams has developed and taught online graduate and undergraduate courses in special education. She is a behavior management consultant and a public speaker on multicultural issues. Dr. Williams advocates for children with disabilities at local, state and national levels. She received her doctoral degree from Florida State University in Special Education and Community Transitions.
